In the United States, dates are abbreviated by month, day and year (e.g. December 25, 2018 is Christmas Day 2018). For timetables, the digits 1 to 12 associated with the abbreviations A.M. (ante meridiem) and P.M. (post meridiem) are used to indicate morning and afternoon respectively. Midday is 12 PM, while midnight is 12 AM.
Daylight saving time starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. Exceptions are Arizona (but not the Navajo territories), Hawaii, and the American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and United States Virgin Islands territories.Time Zone |
