VISA
Every year, the United States is visited by millions of foreigners and generally in most cases it is sufficient to join the Visa Waiver Program to obtain an entry permit for tourism or business for a period not exceeding 90 days. In other cases, you must apply for a visa at the US Embassy or Consulates of your country. In this case it would be preferable to start the visa application procedure at least one month before departure and it is not advisable to plan the trip or purchase non-refundable tickets before obtaining the Visa. There are essentially three possibilities to obtain an entry permit in the country:
-
VISA WAIVER PROGRAM - for business trips or tourism for up to 90 days;
- VISAS FOR NON-IMMIGRANTS - temporary visas that vary according to the reason for the visit and for which it is necessary to apply to the US embassy or consulates;
- VISA FOR IMMIGRANTS - for those who want to permanently transfer to the United States.
