Founded in 1956 by the philanthropist and visionary Aileen Osborn Webb, the Museum collects and exhibits objects that document the historical and contemporary innovation in the field of craftsmanship, art and design following the creative process through which materials are transformed into works by artists, designers and craftsmen.
