Koen (1858-1923), the building has an entrance topped by a Corinthian-style colonnade and a dome that dominates it. It was the headquarters of the New York Police Department until 1973. In 1988 it was converted into a luxury apartment building designed by Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn Architects.
